Liverpool dance troop Dance Dynamix were beaten in the final of Sky One dance show ‘Got to Dance’.
Despite training hard and impressing the judges on the night with their final routine to Britney Spears’ new single ‘Hold It Against Me’, it was not to be as they failed to make it through to the final three.
The remaining trio was made up of Alleviate, a dance duo who graduated from the Liverpool School of Performing Arts, children’s dance group Razzle Dazzle and street dance duo Chris and Wes.
And it was West London street dancers Chris Donnelly
and Wesley Clack - better known as Chris and Wes - who
were victorious on the night.
The pair impressed both the public and the judges with
their own unique comedy dance routine and walked away
with the £250,000 first prize.
Dance Dynamix, from the Old Swan area of the city, were
voted through by the public in the second live semi-final
several weeks ago but could not progress beyond the
final six.
The 12-strong group are made up of eight females and four males and are led by their dance coach and manager of the school where they train, Nazene Langfield. The group entered the competition last year but could only reach the live semi-finals on that occasion.
