Here's a last look at 'Go Penguins', a project that captured hearts and imaginations across Merseyside.
One-third of the decorated glass fibre penguins, which were displayed throughout Liverpool, St Helens and the Wirral from 22nd November to 10th January, are to be sold in an online auction to raise money for the Liverpool Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal.
The penguins, made by Wild in Art and in partnership with Liverpool City Council, have already attracted attention around Merseyside and beyond. The Hollyoaks cast and TV chat show host Paul O’Grady are among the celebrities who have shown their support for the charity auction, with all 63 penguins went under the hammer.
